If it becomes necessary, loosen the clamp a little and adjust the rails before you re-clamp again. For a tilted rail, lower or raise the position of the clamp or even push down on the raised end of the rail when tightening the clamp.
8. Tighten The Clamps Fully
When the rails are properly tightened, tighten the front clamp of each rail using a wrench. Do the same with the other clamps while moving towards the door of the truck.
